Smart trade fair –
how it works:
Upon arrival at the venue, open your ticket in the event app to receive your smart visitor badge.
Visitors can touch their badge against the Smart Badge reader at any exhibitor stand to instantly exchange contact details and gather information on companies and products of interest to them.

As soon as you touch an exhibitor’s Smart Badge reader at their booth with your visitor badge, you digitally collect information. At the end of your visit, you will receive an email containing a summary of the trade fair —specifically, a list of all the exhibitors whose Smart Badge readers you touched. You can then easily access all the data these exhibitors have uploaded to their online profiles via individual links. By touching the Smart Badge reader, you simultaneously signal to the exhibitor that you are interested in their products and consent to them contacting you. In effect, a digital exchange of business cards takes place.
Simply enter your contact details when registering as a visitor. Please ensure that you enter your email address correctly. This is a basic requirement so that we can send you detailed information about “your” exhibitors at the end of the trade fair day.
The personal data you provide when registering will not be passed on by Easyfairs. We only use it to inform you about current and possibly future events of our own. This data is only sent to exhibitors if you touch the exhibitor’s reader with your visitor pass or if you have registered using an invitation code or link from an exhibitor. This signals to us and the exhibitor that you are interested in the exhibitor receiving your data for contact purposes. If you do not want this, we ask you not to touch a reader with your pass or to use one of the opt-out options afterwards. Easyfairs takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. - Get access to product descriptions, images, videos or even job offers from exhibitors.
- If an exhibitor is not at the exhibition stand or is talking to another visitor, you can still obtain information directly from the exhibitor - simply by touching the reader.
- At the end of the trade fair day, we will send you an email with a complete list of all exhibitors where you touched the reader.
